The pavilion was designed with GC software. The pavilion is consisted with two types of numerous components. Component A is merely structural element with enclosed surface. It was used for rest of the pavilion except north façade. As form of pavilion was made according to the topography of the site and responded prevailing wind, each component has variation. Component B was designed to control amount of sunlight access and wind access in the pavilion. Component B was used for north façade and maximise passive cooling system. The direction and size of the opening was calculated scientifically with GC program to achieve the best result. All of each component has variation in the pavilion.
There are significant advantages of using GC in design and sometimes it gave us unexpected result and contribute to push the boundary.
